"I really enjoyed my Christmas shoping experience. I wanted to buy my wife a leather shirt. The shirt I was shopping for was in stock. The second item (one for her/one for me) had to be ordered and the sales person said it would be about two weeks. I was called on January 09, 2010 and told my item had arrived (less than two weeks). "This is a comment about the RIDER'S EDGE riding course offered by Renagade and taught by Jim Buckles(May God always ride with your angel). On Sunday, September 6, 2009, I successfully completed the course. Two days later the lessons and skills Jim instilled in those of us that took the class came in to play for me. I was riding my Ultra Classic home from work, approaching a red light, when from my left an individual pulled out into my lane from a fast food restaurant. Using the SERVE technique, i successfully avoided putting my cycle into the side of her car. PUSH HARD RIGHT< HARD LEFT, kept me out of the hospital. I did it without thinking, just did it. My Harley responded like she knew what to do. I will forever be grateful to RENEGADE( Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Kate) and Jim for caring enough to provide the opportunity for me to learn to be a "Harley Rider" ."

"My comments come in two parts. The first is a testimonial on the RIDER's EDGE Course I just completed this past Sunday (September 6, 2009. Mr. Jim Buckles (God Bless You) was our instructor and because of his training and the riding techniques he instilled in me (along with the others I am sure) I can write this today from my office and not the hospital. I ride an Ultra Classic and was on my way home from work in heavy traffic when a car pulled out from my left directly into my lane. Had I not been exposed to the "SERVE" technique, I would have put my cycle into the side of her car. Without hesitation, I pushed "hard right, hard left" and safely went around the car. To Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Kate, THANKS for Hiring JIM and Jim, thanks for teaching me to ride my Harley and not let the Harley ride me. I will forever be grateful. The second is for the assistance given to me in purchasing the clothing and helmet essentials needed in riding my cycle. "Recently on a trip back from Sturgis I had a problem with my rear wheel. I pulled into Renegade and talked to the service person (Brad) which I told my problem to(Now this is at 5:00 and they close at 6:00). I told him I was from out of town and he immediately took my bike into the shop. They had the part but the part to be replaced had ruined the rear wheel. He then went out of his way to get the rear wheel and replaced it. The mechanics stayed past there normal working hours to get me back on the road. Now I know when they say family I know what they really mean. Everyone in the service department went out of their way to get me back on the road, something I'll never forget."

"I have been looking for an ultra classic for a number of years but couldn't get the money saved up to buy one. I found Renegade on Google. So I contacted them and talked to a salesman named Dave. "Oh Jeez, where to begin........ I have wanted an FXSTC for many years and I had gotten a quote on one from a dealer closer to me. Renegade was the closest dealer to offer the Rider's Edge program, so I called Kate to get signed up. After I talked with her I just had this feeling that I needed to talk to someone in sales and Kate transferred the call. This is how I first met Jimmy A. He really made me feel welcome and quoted me a price that was more than a thousand bucks less than the other dealership. Every time I would call to talk and ask questions he would make time for me. The bike I wanted was not in stock so after a little while of mulling it over I called Jimmy back and did 500$ over the phone to order it. "Testimonial for my life long friend James Carter who just got a new nickname "Crossbones" Carter. Once again Renegade Harley Davidson of Alexandria, Louisiana has shown their devoted support to motorcycling. One of my old friends who ride with us all the time was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He's in the milder stages of it right now, but we noticed he ws having more and more trouble handling his Road King. We didn't want to discourage him from riding but his awkwardness was very obvious, so he thought about a trike but after borrowing one he realized he wasn't a trike man. He wanted to stay with 2 wheels if possible, so I called Mr. Eddy Soberon and Jimmy A. at Renegade Harley Davidson. Jimmy A. is the salesman to see for any special riding needs. I told them James needed a motorcycle considerably lighter then hib big Road King Electra Glide. He has rode it a long time but due to the Parkinson's attacking the coordination in his muscles he was having problems handling it. Jimmy A. and Mr. Eddy got him on a 2009 Crossbones. He came riding up to the house the day he bought it, rode down to the end of the road where it dead ends and circled the big oak and never put his foot down. He had been having major problems there with his Road King due to his balance problems. I personally ride a Road King and wouldn't have any thing else, but thanks to Renegade Harley Davidson, Mr. Eddy and Jimmy A. my old buddy James will get to ride a few more years. He is tickled to death and so am I. They went out of their way to give him a top price in trade-in and an excellent price on his new bike. "Red McDonald speaks out about the economy and a person keeping his sanity. This day and age, every time you turn on the TV you hear about some financial company going out of business or the economy being bad. Most working folks realize that the little things in life are what get you through these types of times. Personal therapy is ones own responsibility. Being able to get on your Harley and ride once in a while on a pretty evening or after work rests your head and allows you to unwind which is what a person needs during these stressful times. I gave up fishing. It cost too much. Boat gas, motor, license, truck gas, insurance and having to ride 50 miles to find a place to fish. I gave up hunting. Deer corn doubled in price. Hunting clubs leased all the land. Club dues started at $150.00 a season. Now some are $800.00 a season, some more some less, but there's one damn thing I'm not going to give up till I get too old to crawl on it and that's my Harley. I can get on it any evening and the minute I crank it up I'm having fun. When I pull out of my driveway, I'm seeing antlered bucks and I'm in a white perch bed. Point being, one of the last things in life that is no more expensive than any other recreatiional activity is riding a Harley Davidson. "I found a bike on the internet page. I sent in a quote request and Cindy Nolan called me the next day. I told her what i had to trade, and what i wanted for it. "Just to begin I would like to thank everyone at Renegade for all their help in the purchase of my new VRSCDX. I was told by a friend "Mad Dog" to go see theses guys and they will give you the best deal possible for your old bike. For years i put it off. But recently I visited their web site and seen the Night Rod Special and decided to ask for a quote. Within an hour I was contacted by TODD NITZ and asked to "Bring the bike in we will get it done." When we arrived it was closing time but the staff stayed later to close the deal. They even let my kids sit on a West Coast Choper which my 2 year old loved. When it came to purchasing a new helmet to go with my bike I delt with Jessica. From the raised metal wall paneling, the black stalls, to the rubber mats to the very clean looking, add a little orange and it will bleed black and orange. "Since gasoline prices have gone up, fuel costs have become a BIG issue. My husband and I started talking about the possibility of switching to motorcycles for transportation to work. We first stopped by Renegade in mid-May 2008 to take a look around. When arriving in the showroom we were greeted by Cindy Nolan who answered every question that we had (and they were many). We signed up for the Riders Edge program and attended the June 5 - June 8 class with Darla and O.E. H., and Brian G. "Last weekend, I came into Renegade for the usual Saturday get together. SOMEhow, I ended up trading in my 04 FXST for a 105th Anniversary Softail Deluxe. I have to say, I LOVE the new scoot. What helped complete the impulse buy (not that I'm complaining) was the staff there. Greg, the salesman, was extremely helpful and when I didn't feel the deal was at the level I wanted, he did what he could to bring the amount down to what I wanted to pay. Sean down in parts is, without a doubt, one of the most knowledgable, most courteous individuals I've met in any parts or service counter in ANY dealership, motorcycle or truck (cars are for wimps). I've been to dealerships from Alaska and the Yukon territory to Orlando, and Renegade is definitely one of the top 3 I've ever been to. I don't want to out other dealerships, but some have had very little selection of bikes, motorclothes, or a service department that really had no clue what they were doing (for example, one never did pre or post service walk arounds, and they failed to install over $600 in accessories that I special ordered...good job guys!). I haven't had ANY problems here. From the customer service and great attitude I receive from everyone at every department (the motorclothes girls rock!) I really doubt I'll EVER have a problem."

"Renegade HD used to have a reputation as being hard to deal with when it came to the purchase of their motorcycles. I use the phase in the past tense because as far as I am concerned, this is just simply not the case any longer. I was the proud owner of an 04 Road King that took me on many adventurous miles including California and Daytona Beach. The time had come to see about getting into an 08 Ultra Classic and so I began my pursuit by emailing Renegade HD for a quote on one of their dark blue pearl models. I received a timely response from Todd Nitz to let me know that they, in fact, had two and both were outfitted with additional options. I knew that in order to see if this was something that I could swing, I had to take my bike in to see what kind of trade-in value I would receive. I made my way to the dealership on a Saturday at lunch so they were busy, to say the least. I asked for Todd and went upstairs to look at the Ultra Classics. Todd met me and said we should go look at my bike and the general sales manager, Darren, came downstairs with us. I had a price in mind and when Darren asked what I wanted for it I told him and he said, Sounds good to me. Was this the same Renegade HD that I had heard so many stories about? Not at all. I also let Darren know that my credit was not pristine and he said that I shouldn’t worry as he would speak with HD Credit directly. I went back upstairs, filled out a credit app and went back to work. I received a call from Todd less than two hours later wanting to know when I wanted to pick up my new Ultra Classic. I was actually speechless as I was pretty sure I would not get past the credit app. I went back down to Renegade HD later that afternoon and it was Darren who actually sat down with me and processed the paperwork. He was adamant about going through each line to make sure I understood all of the figures and all of the options available to me. Throughout this whole process Todd Nitz has been a true sales professional. He has paid strict attention to every detail and has followed up on every discussion, question or concern I expressed. I have also had the opportunity to bring my brand new 08 Ultra Classic in to service to have the security system installed. "On our annual ride into Louisiana with our group my brother picked up a nail in his back tire. It couldn't be repaired so we called Renegade to see if they had a tire. They did and we had the bike hauled to this dealership to be repaired. The guys in the shop dropped what they were doing and went to work on the bike as soon as it arrived. Even though it was closing time they had the new tire on the scoot in less than one hour. With out thier patience and letting me work in my on time frame i would not have purchased my 2008 Road King Classic with Renegade.I visited a dealer half mile from my office and was asked if i was going to purchase that day and when i replied i would not but will within a week after getting some information.Two salesmen at same dealer ship walked off when i informed them i would not purchase that day and was told when i was ready to come see them.So i drove north 80 miles and 45 from my home to Renegade. After he spoke with Harley they informed him that they would not replace the sadle bag due to it is cosmetic. "I have a 2007 XL1200 Sportster Custom I bought at Renegade in April 2007. On March 6, 2008 I brought it in to have some parts put on. Little did I know that the 2 nuts holding the rear cylinder's exhaust pipe onto the head had vibrated loose. It was going to come completely loose sooner than later. Juan Poncedeleon found this just by listening to the motor when he took in in the back for the parts. He had a mechanic re-thread one of the bolts and replace the nuts, without charge. Now, that's Service! Both Juan and Robert Clark have gone out of their way to be helpful ever since I bought the bike. That means a lot. Also, I want to acknowledge the guys in Parts, who have been very courteous and helpful too. One school was only 1 day, with no classroom time just riding time and that I would be fully trained. The other school was 2hrs. of classroom and about 6hr. of riding time to complete his course. "So we finally decided to buy a Harley. Our friend and neighbor,(you know who you are) a lifetime "Harley Guy", recommended Renegade. Like many others in the testimonials, we thought that we should check out the local dealers first and compare. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE WE DID!!! Whether you know exacly what you want or not, they are the place to be. From the minute we walked in the door we were treated like they knew us personally. We were there on a Saturday and it was quite busy but someone from every dept. checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the day. Special thanks to Rick in Sales--you made a 19 year wait come true, we picked out the one we wanted and immediatley it was down stairs getting dressed out. You worked hard to get us better financing than we walked in the door with and we appreciate that. Savannah the Merchandise Manager--waited on the three of us personally. She helped us all get fitted with everything we needed to ride out that day. Boots, helmets, gloves, shirts, you name it. For those of you who don't know this is a long process. You have to have just the right fit and she must have walked back and forth a thousand times. She even pulled out boots and a helmet for us that wasn't even on the floor yet. Jason "moose" the chrome guy---helped us pick out just the right stuff and made sure everything matched and looked sharp and last but certainly not least Chris the Service Manager-- made sure everything was done right and was just what we wanted and needed. He had his crew do about nine hours of labor for us in about 4 hours so we could ride home that day. For this we cannot thank him and the crew enough. We walked in at 10:30 am and left at 5:00 pm on our 08 Heritage Softail Classic, chromed out, tanked up and ready to ride. How's this for service, Just before leaving we notice that one of our saddle bags was actually missing a row of studs. Before we knew it, off went Chris to the back and 15 minutes later it was changed out and ready to go. When we got back home, after a few days of riding we needed some cleaning supplies and we went to our local dealer to pick up a few things. We walked in and not one person even acknowledged we were in the building. From now on we will make the 3 hour ride from home to Alexandria to buy whatever we need, big or small, just to get friendly and dependable service. Renegade Rocks!!!"

"I was having trouble with the Harley dealerships in Fort Worth, so I gave Renegade HD in Alexandria Louisiana a try. I couldn't be happier. "The statement I am about to make comes from experience and the heart. Renegade Harley Davidson in Alexandria, La. is, without a doubt, the most talk the talk, walk the walk Harley Dealer in Louisiana. On 2-9-2008, I went down to Renegades to have a back tire replaced. I had called Chris, the service manager, and made the appointment. They had several tires in stock. I had spoken to Moose in parts and he had tagged one for me. The old lady and I fired them up and road down on that Saturday morning. We had a good time riding down, got there about 9:00. Chris got Cody to come around and take my bike into the shop and mount my back tire. All the Hog Chapter folks were there and the place was humming. It didn't take no time and Cody rode around on my bike for a test ride. One thing about Renegades, they don't let you leave until they road test your bike. Chris always says he won't let you ride or leave unless it's right. That's class. Cody came back in a few minutes and was looking at the front of my bike. I asked if everyting was O.K. Cody said, well Mr. Red, looks like to me your front tire is mounted backwards. I said no joke. He said, have you noticed any problems with it. Then it clicked. When I had got caught in rainy weather, it didn't feel sure footed in curves. I had not noticed the tread design was pushing the water under the tire instead of away. I thought it was me getting too old for bad weather riding. To make a long story as short as possible, Cody could have rode back to the service lot and said your ready to go old man. But instead he went that extra mile to take care of me even though it caused him more labor. "He covered my ass." That is what makes Renegade Harley Davidson the dealership of all dealerships. " I just completed Renegades Riders Edge course after being away from motorcycling for about 30 years. I never gave much thought about what the experience was going to be like. I was thinking the usual class time and then actual hands on range time getting back to learning how to handle a motorcycle and the safety aspect of riding on two wheels again. I never in my wildest dreams thought that the Riders Edge course put on by Renegade Harley Davidson would be this good and demanding. Jerry Marsh and Mike Menou were excellent instructors and just outstanding individuals who were well organized and two individuals who have a passion for teaching others to ride. I brought my daughter Megan, Who is 18 years old along for the ride also and informed Jerry that she has only rode a bicycle before and last time she she even did that was at the age of maybe 12 years old. Jerry said " No problem, I'll teach her to ride". Jerry had her not only riding on the first range day, But about in 5 minutes, She was riding and weaving like a pro between the cones. She even was able to negotiate the tight turns in the 24 and 20 foot box on her first try. It took me a couple times to get the hang of it LOL. Jerry and Mike you were fantastic. We both were able to complete the course feeling good about what we accomplished and the MSF cards and certificates in hand. I really enjoyed the friendship of my other classmates, Jim, Ron, Frank and Amanda. I left Riders Edge with a great feeling about Renegade Harley Davidson. We never were pressured to buy a Harley and after meeting everyone who works at renegade, You could tell everyone loves the job they are doing. Everyone was so friendly. The Renegade experience has placed not only a lasting impression on myself, But you can not fathom how thrilled my daughter Megan is to have discovered how much fun motorcycling is. "Only in my dreams did I ever think about getting on a motorcycle, but when my dad started talking about Riders Edge classes, I almost leaped out of my skin when he asked if I wanted to take them with him. "My wife arranged for me to attend the Riders Edge training school as a birthday present. She worked with Jerry Marsh to arrange everything without letting me know. A few days before the school, she finally broke down and told me about her plans...I was excited beyond belief. She even arranged for my oldest friend to meet me at the school so we could take the next step in making a motorcycle trip we have been talking about for years come closer to reality. The folks at Renegade HD could not have been more wonderful. The school is WELL WORTH THE COST AND TIME to attend for the friendhips as well as the priceless training we received. Jerry Marsh and Mike Menou are wonderful instructors and spent so much more time with each student to make sure we understood the need for safety, proper instruction, being aware of dangers that are unique to cycling than I would have imagined possible. I just can't say enough about this school, these two men who poured their experiences and hearts into our education, the different people we met within the dealership...everyone was superb and so warm and welcoming to a group of new riders. There was absolutly NO pressure to buy a HD bike, no bad talk about other makers of bikes...the sole focus was on safety, preparation and in enjoying the wonderful sport of motorcycling. Anyone who thinks they can be safe by buying and rolling NEEDS this class. Anyone who already has a bike but never attended any formal education on being safe NEEDS to call Jerry and attend the next class...I promise you will learn something that will save your life or at least your bike. "A friend of mine bought a bike from Renegade. He was so happy all he wanted to do was praise the whole experience. Well, I had an 07, and was considering trading up for an 08. I went with him with the intention of making a deal if there was one to be made, but I wanted to see how things went of course. You see, I bought my 07 close to home, and it turned out to be a mistake going to that dealership. They, as I found out more later, are just interested in money, and couldn't care less about the person handing it to them. Not only that, most people around my area won't trust them to touch their bike... for to many reasons to mention. I was hoping for something different, I needed something different, and that's what I got. I ended up trading in my 07 for an 08 that I am very happy with. I also can't say enough about the whole experience... what a completely different feeling than my previous time at a dealership. I will be watching, and waiting to see if this continues, but already I have to say I can with a clear conscience recomend this place to anyone and feel safe in doing so. "Just purchased a 08 Screaming Eagle Softtail Springer. This bike was not an easy one to find,especially in black, but Rick used his mojo and made it happen. They didn't mind dealing with me either. "I cannot thank Jackie and Shorty in the internet dep. enough for there proffesionalism,courtsey, and over the top effort that they put fourth in making a dream I've had sice childhood come true. I was at the annual car/motorcycle show in my hometown and a friend of mine had a new 1200 Sportster and I asked where he got it and he told me about Renegade Harley Davidson in Alexandria LA. That night when I got home I looked up there web-site and filled out the request a quote form that was on Saturday I didn't really expect to here anything because I knew I had very shaky credit and really didn't think I stood a chance. Well wonders never cease and on Monday morning Jackie called me and asked what I was looking for we talked for a little bit and he said he would get the ball rolling. Well being and over the road truck driver the process took a little longer than normal but on 9th month and 19th day of 2007 me and my wife arrived at Renegade Harley Davidson at 9:00 A.M. and at 1:00 P.M. that afternoon we started the 415 mile ride back home on our new 2008 Softail HC. "Thanks Renegade for another great day at the can-do motorcycle dealership. A couple of friends and I drove down to Alexandria Saturday, 9-15-07. All the way down we talked about 1 thing of course, "Harleys". When we got there, I ran to parts to see Ron. He's about as good as it gets when you need a little help knowing what fits what. Renegades parts people are second to none. They know their buisness. I grabbed my purchase, turned around and could not find my compadres. I said, well they must be upon the second floor. I went up there. There they were, staring at all that chrome. Old Joey was standing by a mint condition 2003 883 Anniversay Edition Sportster. It looked like it had been kept under glass. I'm talking cherry. Old Joey said, "I sure do like this Anniversary Sportster". I said well, you can take it home if you really want it. I had been talking to him over a month about starting to ride once again. He had rode for several years in the past but for the last couple had been working all the time and not having any fun. I said, set down on it, he did. It fit him perfect. His feet was flat on the floor and a smile was on his face. I knew we needed a salesman. I looked around and saw Jimmy A. I said Jimmy this man wants to see if he can take this ride home today. Jimmy said we can take care of him Red, no problem. Jimmy took his information and told us to go down and have some coffee. We went down to the service desk and spoke to the crew down there. They were bowed up servicing bikes. Renegade's service department is one of the reasons I am proud to have bought my bike there. I know no matter what could happen, I have them backing me up, keeping me on the road. I have known some of the technicians for 20 years or longer. They are good at what they do. "Just two weeks ago, hubby and I decided we wanted a motorcycle. Of course, it had to be a Harley-Davidson. "My wife and I hopped on our Harleys and rode down to Alexandria to Renegade Harley Davidson in Alexandria Louisiana on the 9-4-07.We left early running between the rain clouds that form every evening and trying to beat the morning rush traffic. Got down to Renegades probably 15 minutes after they opened. Had a good ride, really enjoyed it. What really impressed me was I walked into Renegades. The point I'm trying to make is he was eager to take care of a customer, which shows the quality of the people in the service department, which makes or breaks a dealership. "They say world of mouth is the best advertisement a business can have but first it has to earn its customer's respect. Well, Renegade Harley Davidson has as far as I'm concerned. I recently purchased a new Harley. I shopped around as much as a man could then went back to Renegade in Alexandria Louisiana and made my buy. The folks there always have a smile and a handshake for me every time I walk in, and it's more than a business thing, they really care about how I'm doing. That's why when some of my old friends saw my Harley and asked me about it I had no problem telling them that Renegade is the place to go for Sales, Service and honesty. One of my old buddies who I rode with for years went down to Renegade with me the other day. On the way down I called my friend Jimmy Aquirre who is one of the best guys you'll ever be around. He is a salesman for Renegade. I told him I was halfway there and had a close friend with me who might be interested in a new Harley. Jimmy said come on down the coffepots on. We went down and in no time my friend, seeing all those Harleys had a smile on his face from ear to ear just like me. Jimmy A. gave my friend and I a tour through at least 100 to 200 bikes. I lost count. My buddy looked around at me and said, "I'm getting a new bike today." I said, "You only live once," and the rest is obvious. "You can't go wrong at Renegade, they make sure it! Whow! Visiting Renegade Harley was a wonderful experience. I had two bikes and toyed with the idea to sell one, the Harley (Deuce). I was going to keep the Goldwing because it was a good road bike but I sure liked my Harley. My wife suggested we stop in at Renegade to see if we could trade both the Goldwing and Deuce on a bike of our choice. We met the nicest fellow, Glen Franklin, in sales who introduced us to Mike DeSoto, also in sales. These guys along with the very personable owner, Eddie Soberon, put together a package on an Ultra Classic that was satisfying to me and my wife. The fellows in parts were so helpful with accessary selections. The service department and mechnics, especially "Flat Top" were helpful in explaining things about the bike. "These guys are the greatest.I was shopping online for a new Road King and they had exactly what I wanted .I was contacted by Shorty and he faxed me all the information and we struck a deal over the phone . "I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a great experience purchasing my first Harley, a 2007 Road King Classic was on Monday the 6th of August. On that morning around 8:30am I requested quotes from three dealerships, within 30 minutes, not only had I received an e-mail response from Jimmy, but a phone call as well. He quoted me on the bike, took my application and within a little over an hour, had arranged creative financing and had me planning on making a two hour trip from Shreveport to Alexandria to pick up my new bike. "Todd Nitz is a very Special guy. We have been wanting a Harley for over a year. My husband and I had a 1100 Yamaha we had been riding and ever rode to Sturgis, SD 2 weeks ago. He did everything I ask. We drove over 300 miles and what do you know. We are riding on a NEW ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC. There is no one else that would have taken the time to even look at giving us a new and nice bike. The whole staff treated us like we were somebody. "John Setliff, an employee at Renegade HD, is an old friend of my girl friend. He is dedicated to his work. Even when he broke his foot and had to use a wheel chair some of the time, he went to work in the repair shop. I thought that someone who loves his work so much is unusual. I was wrong. John told us of the safety riding class that Renegade provides. I met Jerry Marsh, the instructor of the Rider's Edge safety class. Jerry Marsh will not let you not learn. His concern for the safety of every one in the class, whether they are riders who need a refresher or a full rookie who has not been on a motorcycle before, makes him a very dedicated instructor. Jerry gives individual attention to every rider. His humor breaks down any lack of confidence that a rookie like me might have. Yet, he never lets you forget that riding a motorcycle is not a "walk in the park." Your life while on the bike is in your own hands and no one else. Even with the serious subject, the class was a blast even when the rain fell. I've learned meeting other employees at the Renegade Harley Davidson Buell store that nearly all of the employees, I can't say for the ones I haven't met yet, are as dedicated to their work. I have to admit I was a little leery buying a bike only seen in pictures and 270 miles away. Todd, you went above and beyond! The 270 mile trip to Alexandria was a little nervous to say the least. Am I making the right decision? was a question I couldn't got out of my head. The minute I walked up to the dealership, Chris opened the door for me and directed me to Todd. "If it hadn't been for Shorty at Renegade, we'd still be dreaming. What do I mean? Well, what's that saying? "You can wish in one hand, and crap in the other, and see which one weighs more..." Something like that. ANYWAY, the husband and I had been dreaming of two beautiful new bikes for some time, as we had outgrown our little 650 starter bike some time ago. Plus, having joint custody of the bike wasn't fun. (It's MY turn to ride, you rode it all day yesterday!) A couple months ago, I threw out the promise that if I ever got a new Harley, I would quit smoking. (Thinking of course that I had some time to kick the habit.) Then one day my hubby said he found an add online that offers financing for people with less than perfect credit. Well, knowing that ours is pretty much less than INPERFECT, I wasn't holding my breath. I gave the old, "Oh, that's nice Honey..." and gave it little thought. Then Shorty got ahold of us, long story short, we had financing set up the next day. It was an absolute delight to be treated like a desired customer instead of a criminal because of our tarnished credit. (Thanks Shorty!) The same day, Shorty had pictures sent to us of two beautiful bikes-the exact bikes we have been dreaming of for several months. (A 1200 Sportster for hubby, and a 1500 Dyna Super Glide for me-both 2007's.) We gave the OK and the process took off from there. I have to admit, we were skeptical. This went from my hubby seeing a little blurb on the internet to owning two new bikes a couple days later? One thing I've always heard is, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." So, I figured there was a catch. Or it was a cruel joke altogether. And if there was no catch, no gimmick, no rug to be yanked out from under us, than it had to be a dream that we would wake up from soon. Admittedly, running on the whole "too good to be true" thing, we checked Renegade out with the Better Business Bureau, looked at the testimonials, tried to find an, "Ah-HA!" to see where the big let down was. No let down. No gimmick, no rug yanking, big joke, or small print. Everywhere we checked, Renegade came out with flying colors. And the customer service we received from Shorty was above and beyond anything we would expect anywhere, it was easy to forget this was considered an internet transaction. I could go on and on, but that would mean I'd have to loose valuable ride time! Ha! So, Shorty and Renegade HD have made our dreams come true, every minute on our bikes has been Heavenly! My only complaint is, we received the bikes before I could finally quit smoking! (Still working on that one...) We've had our bikes for a week, and we've each put close to a thousand miles on them! So now my saying is, if it sounds too good to be true, it must be from Renegade! If you guys are ever in Minnesota, look me up if you can find me on the road somewhere! I'm the crazy one who may have been witnessed hugging and kissing her bike when she thinks no one is looking. I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SHORTY AND RENEGADE!!! "

"What can I say about Renegade Harley? For quite awhile now, I have been dreaming of owning a Harley, namely, a Sporster 1200. My wife and I had been dreaming together about riding side by side instead of sharing our Honda starter bike like we had been doing for the last year or so. I thought we would never get approved with our credit history, so I just kept on dreaming and looking for a way to make it happen. Then I saw the ad online for Renegade Harley Davidson. The ad said "we take all credit, the good, the bad, and the ugly". I knew I fit in there somewhere, but I was still doubtful. "I did it. I made it through my Rider's Edge class. But boy was it tough the first day. I almost gave up at about 9:30 a.m. I was going for my first spin and did not realize that I have a heavy hand. I was giving it enough gas to be going 70. After I realized my mistake or rather heard the difference in my mistake and a lot of coaching from Mr. Jerry, I felt a little like going on. Boy am I glad that I did too. Then came day 1 afternoon session and shifting from 1st to 2nd. Oh boy, that "give up" spirit came back fast and furious. No way said Mr. Jerry. Come on grandma give her some gas. 4 days out and a smile from Alex to Natchitoches, I am getting ready to go the DMV and take my test. "Like a lot of folks who never rode, I still liked motorcycles, but for a series of reasons never got around to owning one. Now that I've been retired for almost ten years I finally began to think, why not give it a try. I called Renegade H.D. where I was told about the Rider's Edge program, but figured that my age might prevent me from being accepted. "I had a very positive experience in purchasing my new '07 1200 Sportster Custom. The salesman (Trent M.) was careful to make sure I got the right bike for my size and riding skills. There was no pressure. I've since bought a few accessories and have been treated very well at both parts & service. Parts doesn't mind just looking up things for you rather than having to sell you something; service was done when I had the appt. and was very professional. The young ladies at the sales desk have been very helpful--there was a mix-up on my Rewards Points card (somehow I got 5,000 points for $700 worth of purchases) and they handled it very well. I was amazed at the volume of parts carried and the items on the showroom floor. You can browse all day in there without getting bored. The salesman (Trent) introduced me to some other riders who like to hang out at Renegade, and invited me on the ride to Toledo Bend; it was a good experience all the way around. Overall I've had a very positive experience; I come by every chance I get just to look around or "hang out". I have recommeded Renegade to several peaple already and will continue to do so. "After 30 Years and having many Metric Cruisers I finally made the decision to buy the Harley that I had always wanted and began looking in my home area and was quickly disappointed by the level of service that I received from the dealers here. "When I decided to buy my bike I shopped around as far as Elpaso Texas. The harley store in Alexandria had the best prices. But to say the least the people that work there are the nicest and the most earnest. They truly care about their customers. Their store is grand. Everyone there was so friendly. "I WENT TO THE STORE WITH MY SON WHO JUST PURCHASED A CUSTOM USED BIKE. WE STARTED TALKING TO TRENT AND HE ASKED IF I THOUGHT OF RIDDING.
